Storm leaves 600,000 people without power

A strong storm went through Washington state on Wednesday, leaving thousands of people without power, and caused one death and two injuries.

A woman living in a homeless encampment in Lynnwood was crushed by a fallen tree due to the storm. A tree also fell on a trailer in Maple Valley, causing two injuries.

Schools in west Washington were cancelled and/or postponed.
